He has put in a request to surrender his life insurance to the seni or life insurance settlement company. He needs to surrender his life insurance to pay for his wife’s care in the nursing home. Normally the life insurance settlement company would have an answer quickly but with the economy the way it is there have been many people looking to surrender their life insurance. As a senior he was smart enough to have a couple different policies so having to surrender just one life insurance policy will not harm them that much. If the senior life settlement does not get approved he may need to take her out of the nursing home and take care of her himself. The rest of the family is in the process of seeing what we can all offer to help in case the senior insurance life settlement does not do through.
